How SJWest Consulting Began
Sara West started SJWest Consulting to create a more personalized approach to tax consulting. Sara’s commitment to a best-in-class, comprehensive and customized work product goes hand in hand with her dedication to client satisfaction and customer service. Sara is passionate about what she does. Having personally defended hundreds of taxpayers in federal and state examinations, her audit experience shapes her unique approach to each client’s matter. Her litigation and tax consulting background perfectly position her to partner with you to meet your tax incentive and audit defense needs.
Get to Know the CEO
Sara was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, receiving her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. After moving to New Hampshire, Sara attended the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Upon graduation, Sara took a position as the Assistant Prosecutor for the Town of Derry, New Hampshire. She then transitioned into Tax Law, honing her expertise as an Associate Director with a premier tax consulting firm, defending hundreds of clients before the IRS and/or like state agencies.
Sara is a member of the New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota Bars.
Sara is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Touchstone Farm, an educational and therapeutic horseback riding facility located in Lyndeborough, New Hampshire.
Sara lives in Hugo, Minnesota, with her amazing husband, beautiful, energetic, creative, and goofy sons and daughter, and the family's aging, but still adorable, beagle.
